ABOUT

Rick Wiebe's upbringing on a ranch near Neilburg, SK laid down the foundation for his successful journey as a clinician in the equestrian world. From his early days working on a PFRA pasture near Outlook, SK, Rick honed his skills in cattle handling, horsemanship, and stock dog training under the guidance of his boss and now father-in-law.

His winters spent with a cowhorse trainer nearby further deepened his expertise in colt starting and the finesse of cowhorse training. In 2010, Rick married the bosses daughter and, with the establishment of Sunrise Ranch in 2014, began his remarkable ascent as a professional competitor.

By 2018, Rick's impressive tally of 15 Championships and 9 Reserve Championships positioned him as one of Canada's top NRCHA earners. His certification as an NRCHA judge bolstered his credibility, making him a sought-after clinician across the country.

Despite his focus on cowhorse activities, Rick's true dedication lies in ensuring that every horse and client leaving Sunrise Ranch departs with enhanced knowledge and skills.

Supported by his wife Becky and their three daughters, the Wiebe family's commitment to excellence shines through in their daily operation, promising a transformative experience for all who cross their path.
