Welcoming all trainers, this application is a preliminary sign up for our 3 day colt starting competition. Details are still being worked out and will be confirmed before final selection is made.
We hope to allow each trainer 2 sessions per day (am & pm session) on Friday and Saturday and one final session Sunday morning before the final competition in the evening.
Horses will be haltered with no other training. You will be asked to complete a variety of in hand and under saddle tasks for the final. You will be scored each session and scores will be tallied after each day. You will find out what is being judged prior to competition.
A saddle will be rewarded to the winning trainer with the highest score at the end of the competition.
